Plumbing Tip
Tip #2: Winterize your plumbing. Preparing
your home for the coldest days of the year takes a little effort, but
the preparation can help prevent burst pipes which can lead to major
water damage. Purchase pipe insulation to keep your pipes that are in
vulnerable areas such as the garage or crawl space, warmer during
freezing temps. Make sure you remove your garden hoses from your
outside faucets. Turnoff and drain your outside faucet. If it really
gets cold, open cabinet doors or let faucets drip on sinks that are on
an outside wall.
